  1. Sue Altimore says:

I was dignosed with Interstitual Pulmonary Fibrosis in July 2004. I had double pneumonia in June, got ARDS and then my Pulmonologist gave me the verdict after 6 weeks in hospital and rehab.
I have been in hospital too many times to remember. A year ago my husband found me unconscious, called 911 and I was in ICU for a week in a coma.
I also have Bronchiectisis that causes lots of infections.
It has been 7 years now. I’ve been on oxygen 24/7 for the 7 years. Keep praying for a miracle and a cure. I know that I have done good, considering everything I’ve been through. My husband take good care of me and tries to keep stress levels low.
I also take 21/2 mg prednisone unless I have a flare, then it goes up with antibiotics.
